June has been a busy month at Sauder’s. Lots of new furniture, accessories, and art work has been rolling into the store, out on the floor, and back to the truck for delivery. No wonder it took our designers a moment to narrow down the newest products and pick their absolute favorite piece. Here are June’s gems according to the experts:

Susan’s favorite piece is a velveteen tufted gray sofa. Classic lines and neutral coloring allow this couch to be used in formal and informal spaces, and is versatile enough for every season

and every style. Cozy and functional- what’s not to love?
Laura’s pick was a beautiful king sized bed in a dark wood. The crafted head board, unique details, and lightly weathered finish make it elegant yet homey. For such a large bed, Laura imagines this in a big master bedroom with neutral and mirrored accents. Bringing in a few more large pieces, like an over-sized armoire, would help to

balance out the size of this bed.
Mary Lou pointed out a unique framed map of the United States as her favorite thing this month. She pictures it in a living room or entryway and was particularly attracted to the reclaimed wood frame and highlighted features. An uncommon take on a traditional map elevates this art to a piece of history, lending a touch of character and charm to a space.
