Started by Grandpa Sauder in 1907, Sauder Furniture and Design Studio has been a family owned business and community fixture for generations. Customers in Illinois and the Midwest have discovered our unique 20,000 square foot full-service furniture store and design studio located in charming Roanoke, IL. Sauder’s interior designers provide creative inspiration and expert guidance for each client’s home, and our professional installation team oversees delivery and set-up from flooring to window treatments. Wade Sauder
President and Customer Relations Associate
Wade grew up in the store his family has owned for generations, and now as the 5th generation owner, he’s still passionate about helping customers find furniture they’ll love for years to come. For him, great customer service isn’t just a tradition—it’s a way of life.
When he’s not at the store, Wade’s happiest spending time with his family or surrounded by animals—he’s never met a four-legged friend he didn’t like!
Jeff Sauder
Co-owner and Customer Relations Associate
Jeff grew up in the family store and now co-leads the business as the 4th generation owner. With a strong background in flooring installation, he loves rolling up his sleeves to help customers turn their design visions into reality. For Jeff, it's all about trust, relationships, and making sure every customer feels like part of the family.
When he's not at work, Jeff enjoys family adventures, traveling to new spots, and hunting down the next great meal.
Mary Lou Littlejohn
Design Consultant
For Mary Lou, design is more than furniture—it’s about connection. She loves working side by side with her customers, learning their stories, and helping them create spaces that feel like home. With an eye for style and a heart for people, she makes the design journey both fun and rewarding.
Off the clock, Mary Lou is always up for an adventure, whether she’s traveling to new places or cheering from the sidelines at her kids' events.
Rachael Blackmore
Accounting Manager
Rachael is the numbers wiz behind the scenes, keeping our finances in perfect order and ensuring everything stays on track. With a keen eye for detail and a talent for organization, she makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. Her dedication keeps our operations running smoothly and our team focused on what we do best.
When she's not balancing the books, Rachael loves spending time at the campground with her family and friends.
