Started by Grandpa Sauder in 1907, Sauder Furniture and Design Studio has been a family owned business and community fixture for generations. Customers in Illinois and the Midwest have discovered our unique 20,000 square foot full-service furniture store and design studio located in charming Roanoke, IL. Sauder’s interior designers provide creative inspiration and expert guidance for each client’s home, and our professional installation team oversees delivery and set-up from flooring to window treatments. A full-service experience and a talented staff will ensure the best solutions for your home’s needs.

Skip Sauder


President and Customer Relations Associate


Cubs' fan, dance aficionado, and a true foodie, Skip's talents extend far beyond the world of interior design. With thirty years of education, experience, and an impressive family history, Skip's designs are fueled by a passion for color, pattern, texture, and fabric which has allowed him to bring the latest innovations and styles to Sauder Furniture. 

Jeff Sauder


Co-owner and Customer Relations Associate


Jeff has been involved with Sauder Furniture for more than 35 years and is passionate about transforming customers' homes into beautiful and functional spaces for them to enjoy. When Jeff's not working with customers you can find him enjoying his four children and grandchildren.

Wade Sauder


Logistics and Customer Relations Associate


Hunting enthusiast and basketball playing aside, Wade has virtually grown up in the store and is excited to be able to carry on the Sauder family tradition of bringing quality furniture and design to Central Illinois.

Mary Lou Littlejohn


Design Consultant


After graduating from Bradley University with a degree in Merchandising, Mary Lou found herself designing residential homes in 2007. Mary Lou understands that furniture is a personal reflection and emotional decision which is why she loves forming relationships with her clients. Afterall, happiness is homemade.
