Spring has arrived with beautiful sunshine and 60 degree weather. This time of year is hallmarked by tulips blooming and trees turning green again. strategically soften sharp edges, and create a filler for empty spaces. Different plants work well in different design esthetics. For example ferns work well in a country-rustic style, silk floral arrangements are more formal, and orchids pair well with modern designs. If you don’t have a green thumb or are sick of constantly watering plants or changing out dying flowers artificial plants and silk florals are a great alternative. Artificial plants are low maintenance, won’t cause water damage, and last all year round. At Sauder Furniture we love to use plants as part of a room’s design. If you’re feeling inspired by all the greenery this spring ask one of our designers to help you find the perfect plants for your home. *Thank you to the Sauder Furniture design team and qualitysilkplants.com for the information in this post.
