The deep red wine color was chosen not only for its beautiful hue but for its versatility. Just like popular movies and music, this year’s color has a wide appeal.
This rich color has been a go-to beauty product color for many years because it compliments so many different skin tones; now its usefulness has transcended makeup and moved into interior design. It’s great for accessories, adding a pop of color to pillows or a throw, but when used in an entire room, acts as a grounding color. A matte Marsala is warm and inviting while a glossy finish is striking and glamorous.
